About Us
In 2023, our founder Ewan McCarthy spent the summer filming weddings and small events, which ignited his passion and led him to establish Sky High Shots in early August. Later that month, he filmed the world-renowned Ironman Triathlon, and the video went viral, providing a significant boost to Sky High Shots. Sky High Shots took on small jobs to build the business's reputation, and by November, Sky High Shots joined Epic Productions Ireland as a subcontractor. This partnership opened up tremendous opportunities, allowing them to work on projects for Cork Opera House, Cork Choral Festival, and Cork County Council. In late 2023, Ewan welcomed Aleks Gryzbek as a part-time cameraman and editor. Together, they spent the second term of their transition year in school honing their skills and enhancing the business's reputation. Now, in 2025, Ewan has a strong team supporting the company's productions, delivering high-quality work for clients.
